In a major international spiritual outreach, the promotional campaign of the 22nd International Rishi Kumbha Mela concluded successfully after spanning multiple cities across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The campaign was organized under the visionary guidance of renowned global spiritual traveler Swami Shubhananda Puri Maharaj, with the aim of expanding the global reach of the Rishi Kumbha Mela—founded by Swami Advaitananda Puri Maharaj.

 

International Timeline of Events

The global tour commenced on January 11 in Los Angeles, hosted at the Church of Scientology Chapel Hall. It continued on January 17 in New York at the New York Hindu Temple, followed by Toronto, Canada on January 19, where community leaders and devotees gathered in a party hall setting.

The European leg included programs in Paris on January 21 and Stockholm on January 23, the latter organized by the Hindu Forum of Sweden in collaboration with Sensus, drawing participation from local interfaith and cultural groups.

In the Middle East, events were held on January 25 in Al Ain, Dubai, featuring Shri Shri Gita Pushpa Yagna, discussions on the philosophy of the Kumbha, and Mahanam Sankirtan, with the involvement of local religious organizations. On January 26, night-long devotional and spiritual programs were organized in Sohar and Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Oman, with enthusiastic participation from devotees.

In early 2026 (January 2–5), multiple spiritual discussions and Sankirtan programs focused on human welfare were held in Abu Dhabi and Mussafah, supported by various organizations. The tour concluded in Singapore on February 4, with the organization of a “Summit of Devotees” involving the local spiritual community.

Leadership and Global Collaboration

Several organizations played a key role in strengthening the international presence of the Rishidham Ashram, including Sri Guru Sangha, Rishi Advaitananda Parishad Bangladesh, and the California Spirituality & Cultural Centre.

Religious ceremonies during the campaign were presided over by Swami Sachidanandapuri Maharaj, Mohanta of the Ashram, while Swami Shubhananda Puri Maharaj led and coordinated the international segments across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

In parallel, the Advaitananda Mission California Center announced initiatives to research, publish, and globally promote the literary works and philosophical teachings of Swami Advaitananda Puri Maharaj, marking a significant academic and spiritual milestone.

Tour Conclusion

After completing the extensive global journey, Swami Shubhananda Puri Maharaj returned to Los Angeles on February 5, concluding the campaign with prayers and blessings for the health, peace, and prosperity of humanity.

The international promotional tour has reinforced the growing global significance of the Rishi Kumbha Mela, positioning it as a unifying spiritual movement dedicated to human welfare, cultural harmony, and timeless Vedic philosophy.

Swami Adwaitananda Puri Maharaj was born in Banigram under Banskhali subdistrict of Bangladesh on 19th May, 1903. He was named as “Adwaita” by his parents guru Sripad Amritlala Goswami who has lineage to Probhu Nityananda.
